Après une semaine de pause un petit spoil :

 

Is briefly explain how to play the game of cards.

Each point is marked with an ingredient, you can decide whether to turn the point to another participant or keep it for himself.

Who is the highest point wins, as in all games of cards.

The cards used are those with French suits, the ones used in casinos (hearts, spades, clubs and diamonds).

The game takes place in stages, and at the end of each stage, the competitor who loses will have to pay a forfeit (not clear how). The rest of the script comes to deadlines, rules to give away the game and how strong is Livebearer in this competition.

Donc apparemment, un chapitre sans action particuière, mais on a les règles du jeu qui s'installent. A voir les possibilités offertes par le jeu... J'imagine que ça doit laisser une possibilité autre que la chance, pour décider de l'issue du jeu.

Ca n'a pas l'air d'être un jeu de carte classique, on verra bien avec un version US mais ça a l'air vraiment particulier.

 

A première vue, ça n'a pas l'air de démarrer idéalement pour Coco...

Ce chapitre promet d'être intéressant. Ils sont assis autour d'une table et jouent aux cartes. Ça changent clairement de tout ce qu'on a pu observer dans ce manga depuis le début.

 

Je trouve que l'auteur dessine très bien les expressions du visage de Livebearer. Je trouve qu'il dégage énormément de charisme. Il n'a pas l'air ni stupide, ni faible. A voir ce qu'il vaut réellement.

 

Sinon, en observant les expressions de surprise et de défi que lance Livebearer à la petite équipe, et la manière dont Toriko a l'air de se délecter de la nourriture, je trouve que ça commence plutôt bien. Ils ont même l'air de remporter dix points. C'est ce qui est marqué sur l'écran à la fin du chapitre. Ça veut dire qu'ils ont remporté dix ingrédients si un point vaut un ingrédient ? Je comprends le script du spoil comme ça en tout cas.

 

Bref, j'ai hâte de lire les règles exactes de ce jeu.

 

Vivement que le chapitre sorte en Version Française.

Voilà la première traduction anlgaise que j'ai pu trouver.

 

Ca s'annonce vraiment bien cette partie de carte, je sens que l'on va avoir le droit à des gros moments de stress face à Livebearer. Heureusement pour no héros ils comptent Coco parmi eux. Parce que si Livebearer est aussi doué que Coco (ou du moins est particulièrement chanceux dans sa "lecture" des cartes), capable de cuisiner lui-même ses plats comme Komatsu et de manger autant que Toriko ==> c'est vraiment un sacré client et cette partie ne sera pas de la tarte

Live: First we place all the cards face down and line them up, then turn them over two at a time.

If you get the same ingredients, it's a "Hit", then you eat all of that actual ingredient and earn the points written on the card.

If the same ingredient doesn't come up, it's an "Out" and it becomes the other player's turn.

On page: Eat All

If there is a case where you can't finish eating the ingredient you "hit", then the points instead go to the opponent's side and it becomes their turn.

By the way, if you can't finish the food twice in a row, then at that point you retire and lose.

Also if you're simply "out" 10 times in a row, in that case you also lose.

Coco: By getting a hit and finishing the food, do you earn the right to flip cards again?

Live: Yes. But only up to 3 times per turn.

Live: So there are 3 pattern by which the turn can go to the opponent. (1) You simply get an out. (2) You get a hit but you can't eat (1 time) (3) You get 3 hits in a row and finish eating.

By these rules, both sides have a many chances to eat ingredients.

There number of cards is 56!! ["56!!" big]

That is made up of 28 kinds of ingredients in total.

But among those there are 4 cards (2 types) of "Joker Ingredients".

If you hit those and finish eating them, you can trade just 1 card of yours with 1 of your opponents.

And of course, if you don't finish eating the traded ingredients, you won't get the points.

So what do you think? Well... perhaps I'm speaking too soon.

The one to have the most points at the end, wins.

Live: Just like how restaurants have a number of stars, the cards have levels.

The higher the level, the higher class and rare the ingredients on them.

Je vous souhaite une bonne lecture.

 

Le jeu se met en place. Les règles sont bien expliquées. Je vais attendre la VF pour tout comprendre. Il me semble qu'ils parient quelque chose d'assez important dans ce jeu, mais j'ai pas compris à quoi pouvait servir ce pari fou et à quel moment ça rentre en jeu. Coco commence à jouer en premier car il est bon à pile ou face. Il fait un "hit" et remporte dix points au jeu de cartes. Livebearer est assez impressionné par l'intelligence de son adversaire. Il a l'air de s'amuser. Et il n'a jamais perdu un seul match.

 

Bref, on dirait que tout ça commence bien pour notre petit groupe.

 

J'attends la VF de ce chapitre donc. Et puis vivement le chapitre 165 qui promet d'être assez palpitant.

ils parient leur mémoire sur les ingrédients. Ca était dit et redit. on a une bonne équipe du coté de toriko. coco trouve les bonnes cartes, toriko mange les ingrédients et Komatsu les cuisine. Match fait le distributeur afin d'assurer qu'il n'y a pas de triche. Mais vu le sourire de Live, il doit avoir un truc pour tricher du genre voir sous la table ou alors il est vraiment chanceux et va prendre du plaisir durant cette partie.

 

je parie qu'il va y avoir un rebondissement en faveur de Live.

Moi qui m'attendais à un jeu de ouf ! =D

 

Je pense que, vu les repas que se tapent Toriko en fin d'arc au restaurant de Komatsu, le chiffre sur les cartes (la quantité que Toriko doit ingurgité) ne vont pas posé problèmes.

Après c'est vrai que vu le sourire de Livebearer, ça va pas se passer comme ça,... de la triche? Au niveau du jeu, des ingrédients?

Des règles qu'il n'a pas révélé?

C'est vrai qu'un simple jeu de mémoire parait un pe utrop facile. Mais à mon avis l'une des difficultés est dans les ingrédients à manger et d'abord à préparer.

 

Alors certes Komatsu entend bien les voix des ingrédients mais réussir du premier coup à préparer un nouvel ingrédient qui reqiert une technique particulière n'est jamais facile.

 

Et il est évident que Toriko ne bronchera jamais devant la quantité à ingurgiter mais le problème c'est que l'ingestion de certains aliments ont peut-être des conséquences sur la sensationde faim ou quelque chose comme ça.

 

Donc même si en apparence ça a plus l'air d'une dégustation avec un jeu de carte bidon je me méfie. Livebearer a l'air encore très confiant. Certes il n'a pu retenir sa surprise devant le talent de Coco à "lire" les cartes, mais quand on voit son expression en dernière page, on peut se douter que lui-même est particulièrement doué, habile ou chanceux.

le chapitre est très bon, ça change enfin de la baston traditionnelle pour voir des choses un peu plus intéressante.

Effectivement le livebearer a l'air sûr de lui et en même temps très content d'avoir des clients aussi bons que la team toto, coco et koko !

Mais je n'arrive pas à saisir si en tant que dealer du casino et de produit narcotif s'il va se contenter du jeu en étant bon joueur, ou si ça va se terminer en baston général.

 

je vois bien une baston quand même, la combinaison dealer + casino + dépouillé au cartes par toto et coco = ça va le vénère et les provoquer.

J'avais pas voulu me spoiler sur ce chapitre pour bien comprendre le jeu

 

En faite c'est simple, c'est le jeu des paires qu'on a tous joué gamin. sauf que la on doit mangé ce que y a dans la paire.

 

Je vois pas Toriko calé sur un ingrédient a manger, le mec est un ventre, si on rajoute le don de coco.. sacré combat. J'imagine que Livebearer a plein de truc en manche pour s'en sortir.

Ça faisait longtemps qu'on n'avait plus eu de Toriko à cause de la pause. Par contre c'est moi ou tous les mangas du Jump font une pause à tour de rôle? Je redoute le moment où ce sera au tour de HxH  .

Je pensais qu'ils allaient tous affronter Livebearer en même temps mais en fait ils se partagent les tâches. Et je me demande vraiment comment il va faire pour être à leur niveau parce qu'entre Coco qui connait les cartes, Toriko qui n'a pas d'égal en taille d'estomac et Match qui l'empêche de tricher il va avoir du mal.
